Famed concert pianist Vernon Paris is involved in an auto accident in which his hands are crushed beyond repair. A surgeon/scientist performs an experimental procedure on Vernon - a double-hand transplant - grafting new hands taken from a recent murder victim. However, the new appendages begin driving Vernon mad, with murderous consequences . . .
